ALISON PRINCE began writing in the sixties for children's television and writing children's books. Kenneth Grahame: An Innocent in the Wild Wood was her first biography, followed by her first adult novel, The Witching Tree (Allison & Busby). She continues to write for children and now also writes poetry. She lives on the Isle of Arran.
