San Francisco based DANIEL HANDLER has been described as a 'Generation X bard'. He is the author of one previous adult novel, The Basic Eight, currently optioned by Warner Bros. He is also known as Lemony Snicket the pseudonymous author of a set of gothic children's books entitled A Series of Unfortunate Events. The multi-talented Mr Handler is also a musician, playing accordion with Stephin Merrit's critically acclaimed band The Magnetic Fields, and he recently appeared on the front of a Hallmark greeting card - the inside of the card was blank.
