HARRIET RUSSELL was born in London in 1977 and was brought up in a twelfth-century priory in West Sussex (with various cats, geese and bantams). She studied visual communication at Glasgow School of Art and Central Saint Martin’s College, specialising in illustration in both courses. She now works as a freelance illustrator in London, mainly within publishing and editorial. She is the author and illustrator of several children’s books.
